We’re excited to share that construction is officially underway on a renovation project at Breakwater Federal Credit Union!
Originally constructed in 1994, our headquarters has proudly served members and the Copper Country for more than three decades. As our membership continues to grow, these renovations represent the next chapter in our commitment to providing a welcoming, modern space for both members and employees.
The project will include refreshed employee workspaces, updated technology, and additional space designed to enhance the member experience and support our continued growth. These improvements reflect our ongoing investment in providing exceptional service while meeting the evolving needs of the communities we serve.

Business hours will remain the same throughout the renovation, and our team is here to serve you every step of the way.
As construction progresses, you may notice temporary barriers, construction crews, or changes to certain areas of the building. While some spaces may be temporarily inaccessible, all of Breakwater’s services will remain available.
Your funds, personal information, and account security are not affected by the construction.
We appreciate your patience as we make these improvements and look forward to welcoming you into an updated space designed to better serve you.
Whether you visit us in person or bank from home, you have convenient access to your accounts throughout the renovation.
Our Online Banking and Mobile App are available 24/7, allowing you to check balances, transfer funds, deposit checks, pay bills, and more from wherever you are.
Need cash or want to make a deposit? Breakwater has nine ATMs conveniently located throughout the Copper Country, including three ATMs that accept deposits, so you can access your money when it’s most convenient for you.
Construction is expected to continue through the spring as work is completed in multiple phases. Once the project is finished, we’ll celebrate with a Grand Reopening, and we can’t wait to welcome you into our refreshed space.
